Learning and loving through the big things in a little things world. Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Did you think I had forgot I had a blog? Cause I kinda did. With the end of the craziest semester of my college career going straight into Thanksgiving, Christmas and Winter Break in general, I just havent found the time to document my oh-so-glamorous life. I know you are all so relieved I am back. My fabulous cousin-in-law Amanda tagged me in her post. And I am excited to play! .
Tuesday, August 4, 2015. The worst day of my life. Where have I been? Who knows. probably busy chasing a toddler and a very mobile infant. Whew, parenthood is no joke. We grabbed a quick late lunch on our way home from the airport and I told BL I was going to do a simple dinner and put the kids to bed right after dinner. Did I mention I was. About 15 minutes after he started.
Best Of Happy or Hungry. Life lately has been fairly non-exciting. Aside from work, a few social events and the holiday craziness, Evan and I have been laying low since about November. We did this four years ago.
Saturday, November 3, 2012. It has been quite a while since my last post and I have received a few emails from people wondering how Isabella is doing. Get back into blogging again. Monday, May 11. How to Paint a Brick Fireplace. This post is about 8 months overdue! Once we had our den walls painted, I knew our fireplace had to be painted as well. It was a dark red brick with matching grout, and it would stick out like a sore thumb in this pretty new room. I love the look of brick though, so I used a technique that would keep that authentic look. Here are the details! First, I painted the entire fireplace with primer. Monday, January 12, 2015. I begged God often to move us and to give us more space and He shut the doors many many times. Mark and I would go adventuring and look at all these crazy run down forclosed houses just to get space for a cheap price. We have hit our knees to have the doors quickly slammed. Our realtor, God bless her, probably could do a TV show. What do you want us to do? This journey has taught me MUCH about trusting the Lord. Do I really trust Him or do I say that I trust Him?
